Cornell Law School 5 Year Reunion

I thought I'd just post photos from reunion weekend as they trickle in. I'll save the commentary on the weekend for later.

These two pics are from our Finger Lakes region wine tour. BT made the arrangements for the wine tour from the Left Coast and he did a fantastic job. Just take a look at the tour bus...

That's an actual photo from the bus company's website. I have to tell you - we did "Get Respect". All the rest of the winos out on the Finger Lakes wine trail would step out of the way when they saw us roll up. Even the most organized of the other tour groups only had a re-painted school bus driving them around.

More on the reunion later....

Miss Universe

Because I've been so busy, I never had a chance to recap the Miss Universe competition. I only caught glimpses of the actual broadcast but what I saw was brilliant. First, Vanessa Minillo hosted the show with AC Slater. Except for AC Slater over-pronouncing Spanish words to curry favor with the Mexican audience, they did a decent job. Did I mention Vanessa Minillo was a host? (That last pic wasn't great but I felt it was worth the side-boob)

Here's AC Slater and The Donald invading Miss Japan's personal space. She's clearly a little disconcerted. B-B-B-Bayside!

Miss Japan won the contest, deservedly so. As predicted in my exclusive TGS pre-pageant analysis, Miss Japan capitalized on the large breasted asian angle. Here she is looking all cute the day after the contest. Congratulations!

Another one of my favorites, Miss Brazil, finished as runner-up. Fantastic!

The following are some of my favorite pageant moments caught on film...

Last year's winner (Miss Puerto Rico) dropped the tiara while passing the crown to Miss Japan. Was this intentional? Is a frog's a$$ watertight?

If you're still not convinced that there was malice aforethought when Puerto Rico '06 dropped the crown check out that crazy-jealous look in her eyes as Miss Japan is named Miss Universe. That's the look of an aging beauty queen who feels all the younger, prettier girls nipping at her heels.

My favorite pageant moment was definitely Miss USA falling on her a$$. I never really liked her. Priceless...

That's it for my belated Miss Universe recap. Wish I had time for more commentary but I've got a closing today. A.B.C.
Movie Note - Watched "The Machinist" last night. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. It's definitely worth the viewing.
